Kindergarten PE
Kindergarten students build on their natural enthusiasm for movement, using it to explore and learn about their world. They start to work and play with other pupils in pairs and small groups. By watching, listening and experimenting, they develop their skills in movement and coordination.
Kindergarten has three 40 minute lessons of P.E. each week. We introduce and develop skills for being in a P.E. class. Gross and fine motor skills, ball skills, games, listening skills, cooperation, sportsmanship and instruction following activities. We use a variety of facilities depending on availability. These include the gym, auditorium, dance studio, outside 3G pitch, tennis courts, front lawn, and on special occasions; trips into Court Park to use the playground, grass meadows and copse for activities.
